How to do MCSA or MCSE ?

Go to any prometric center near you .. Ask them to register the mcse / mcsa exams for you as per your suitable timings...

You will immediately get result after exam..
so no tension :)

mcp mcsa mcse


1st simple question about MCP MCSA or MCSE is..

what is mcp?
or
what is mcsa?
or
what is mcse?

this might be common question among newbies..

well then here's a simple answer...


mcp, mcsa & mcse are Microsoft certification exams..



Why Microsoft offer these MCP, MCSA & MCSE exams ?

Microsoft has many products. which used by large industries. ..
eg.
as u know.. microsoft windows vista, windows xp,
different server operating systems.. etc..


These product require maintenance..
& everybody can't have detailed knowledge of these operating system...

you know that you use windows xp or any other operating system.. as a new user how much knowledge did u had to use & do enhancement in your operating systems settings?


so

these product need the engineers to take good care of them to make them perform at their best...
&
these engineers must know all about these operating systems & their options n services etc...


so
Microsoft take exams
like windows xp exams, windows server 2003 security exam.. windows server 2003 exam, or windows vista exams.... etc etc..

&
give u certificates like MCP, MCSA, MCSE..or new certificates like mcts....


well there are cases where not so certified people know much more than mcp or mcse or mcsa certificate holder... well but that's not our topic...

These certificates are useful for your career growth in IT industry.

& any exams you give on product before win server 2008... like win xp , 2003 etc.

with any single exam you pass you credited as MCP... Microsoft Certified Professional...



MCSA:

Microsoft certified systems administrator...

:- on MCSA 2003, to achieve mcsa credential you have to pass-

two core exams on network operating system
one exam on client operating system
& one elective exam



MCSE:

Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer...

:- to achieve credit as MCSE 2003 you have to pass 7 exams... these exams include:

four core networking exams - these all are compulsory...
one client operating system exam
one design exam
one elective exam- lots of option available...

mcse messaging


If you like messaging technology...

well here i meant... i am not asking for using this service...

to send SMS or IMs or mailing...


rather do you have interest in knowing how it works & would love to monitor it?

So go ahead with MCSE messaging certificaton.


OR...


you are getting calls for a job which requires exchange server certification.


OR


you have to work with exchange server technologies at your job place...


here..

This certification is good for your career.


You know that in computer networking world, there is lots of different strategies... different technologies.

&

IT industry needs an expert for those particular fields.


As you see...

you yourself have to work with different servers. Like mail server... RAS server...

In same way this is Microsoft’s different application server... designated with specific task...

that is messaging.

Mcse 2003 exams



Mcse 2003 exams are announced in summer 2003.


As you know to become MCSE 2003 you have to pass 7 exams.

mcse offers 2 specializations – MCSE messaging & MCSE security.
