rather do you have interest in knowing how it works & would love to monitor it?

So go ahead with MCSE messaging certificaton.

OR...

you are getting calls for a job which requires exchange server certification.

OR

you have to work with exchange server technologies at your job place...

This certification is good for your career.

You know that in computer networking world, there is lots of different strategies... different technologies.

IT industry needs an expert for those particular fields.

This certification gives you degree of Microsoft certified systems engineer with specialization in messaging.

Or

you can say Microsoft certified systems engineer with exchange server.

When this certification was new... & MCSE Messaging certificate holders were few... Every recruiter was asking me whether I am exchange server certified.

Now there will be lots of mcse pals with exchange server specialization.

Practically speaking,
for this certification you have to pass all 6 core exams that require for basic mcse certification
& 2 more exams for messaging specialization.

In other words... if you are doing MCSE,
selecting these 2 different exams as elective exams can give you title 'MCSE with exchange server'.
